Thursday was the 54th anniversary of the famous Apollo 11 launch. To celebrate, Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, posted the hardest photo possible on Twitter.

In it, the 93-year-old spaceman has a stacked plate of steak and eggs and an even more stacked set of jewelry.

Somebody double-check if he got a Cuban link under his collar.

Other than to obviously flex on everyone, many were confused as to why Aldrin needed three watches.

“He got three watches on because he went to the moon. If y’all don’t understand moonman drip just say that,” wrote @ravenscimaven.

Still, as @bendreyfussm reasoned, “I don’t care if you’ve been to the moon. This is too many watches.”

The real answer? Aldrin likes to wear multiple watches for accuracy’s sake. “You need an odd number (of watches) in case there’s a discrepancy so you can sort out which one is what,” Aldrin explained in an archival interview on his website.

Moreover, regarding the two watches on his left hand, one keeps Mars time, where a day is 24 hours and 39 minutes long; the other is a commemorative Omega Speedmaster from the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch. (Omega is the preferred watch brand for NASA.)

Of course, Aldrin popping back up on the timeline also inspired another round of posts about him punching a “Moon Landing” conspiracy theorist back in 2002.

“Wonder if he had 3 watches on & them rings when he decked homie for accusing him of faking the moon landing,” asked @afrocosmist.

“The watches remind him it’s always time to punch a conspiracy theorist,” added @brianMFloyd

Buzz Aldrin has lived many lives, but he clearly still has nothing but time on his hands.
